Salam...

Entri kali ni akan menceritakan pengalaman pertama buat lab tahun 2012. haha. Setelah sekian lama (hampir 8 bulan kot!) aku tak masuk lab, tetiba rasa macam jakun sikit bila masuk lab. Gaya dah macam budak Form 4 baru masuk lab. dengan segala instrument yang canggih manggih, nama2 apparatus yang ingat-ingat lupa membuatkan aku kekok gilaa nak buat lab. lagi bertambah rusa masuk kampung bila tak kenal mana satu lab assistant! Actually, di sini tak ada lab assistant dah. tugas lab assistant dibahagi kepada 2; PLV(pegawai latihan vokasional) dan technician (ini yang apa aku paham lah). 

Aku mula buat lab bulan 1 lepas. Kalau tak salah, masa minggu Tahun Baru Cina. Masa tu, rata-rata student final year dah habis final exam. Tapi tak ramai lagi masuk lab masa tu.

Aku buat lab dengan budak FYP. errr.. Actually, not budak. she's older than me. Haha. Our project are slightly same. So, we decided to do the lab together. 

My first day, we opt to make biochar from 3 different biomass by differs the temperature. So, in order to make the biochar, we need to find crucibles. I can't find any small crucibles! but I manage to find two big crucibles like in the photo below.

We try to put the empty  big crucibles into furnace. It can't fit it! Just because the space to put our crucible is small.

Later, we tried our best to find small crucible. but we only managed to get two. Sobs. Since we need three crucibles, we decided not to use the small crucibles. If we use the small crucibles, another biomass type will be put into an aluminium foil. At last, we choose to use aluminium foil.
